Ensure the anchor is resting flat under the dressing to promote healing flat.

After showering and gently rinsing the anchor, pat dry with a clean disposable paper towel and re-apply dressing.

What to expect with your new piercing?
You can expect some swelling, tenderness, itching, bruising and bleeding. You will also experience some white-yellow fluid which is perfectly normal. It will air dry and create a crust around your piercing. DO NOT pick at these crusts. You can gentle wipe them away with the saline solution. Keep in mind everyone heals differently so what you have, others might not. It is so important to keep up with the aftercare instructions to look after your new piercing.
Downsizing your piercing?
It is important to downsize your piercing to what your piercer recommends. This stops your piercing from healing incorrectly as well as irritation and piercing bumps occurring.
